This original hand-carved linocut depicts St. Paisios of Mount Athos, rendered in bold black ink with the quiet gravity the saint is known for. Carved and printed by hand, each impression carries the natural texture and slight variation that make relief printmaking irreplaceable - no two prints are exactly alike.

The composition captures St. Paisios in his characteristic monastic habit, his weathered face emerging from deep shadow, hands folded in stillness.  The start contrast of black ink against white paper echoes the tradition of carved iconography while feeling contemporary.
