Doors of Greece Cross Linocut Print
Doors of Greece No. 2 — Cross with light rays Linocut Print
Inspired by a church door I spotted in a small Greek village, this original design was hand-carved into a linoleum block and printed by hand, one pull at a time.
The cross design echoes the ironwork found on doors throughout the Greece — a small architectural detail that’s easy to walk past, and impossible for me to forget. This is the second piece in my ongoing Doors of Greece series, each one drawn from a door I’ve photographed while traveling.
Details:
• Hand-carved linocut, hand-pulled print
• Blue ink on archival, acid free paper
• Print size: 5x7 inches

Every print carries small, natural variations from the hand-carving and inking process — no two prints are exactly alike.
